HIWT does not believe in or endorse the tradition of giving Jahaiz, but we are carrying out this service as it has become a necessary social evil. Many girls do not get married due to the lack of Jahaiz. On request from needy families, we quietly investigate their case and help them by providing reasonable non cash items.

We carry out this service in a way that the self-respect of the subjects does not get hurt and they may fulfill their obligations honorably.

You can either provide us items that are useful in this regard or you can bear the marriage expenses of the needy which is Rs. 50,000/- .

If all of us donate some of the money spent on unnecessary traditions at the weddings of our own children, we can earn valuable prayers of the needy and consent of Allah Almighty, and increase our standing in front of our beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (peace been upon him).
